I have operated this website for the past 11 years as a service to teachers and leaders who embrace high progress literacy principles and practices, Pre-K through 20.<\/p>\n
Grade 20? Yes. Believe it or not, I have professors using the New Norms for Learning with their graduate students because it is still possible to get to grad school without knowing how to read and comprehend complex, technical, informational text. And that is what we are about at HPL: We help readers make sense.<\/p>\n
I have largely retired from consulting, though I am still available to consult, present, tutor, and teach on a limited basis.
